Something's going on...

Mom gotted a letter yesterday that when she opened it made her jump up and down. It was a very loud noise when she jumped. I didn't know what she was doing so I went to do a turtle. Mom and dad have been talking about going somewhere and I don't like it at all. I don't know what is going on. I heard mom say that maybe I could stay with Grammie, which would be sooo much fun. If you remember, she's the Grammie with the Stairs.

Today's the day

So I practiced the reverse psychology and am being extra nice to my beans today. I did not give them extra early wakeups, in fact I let them sleep in for the first time since ever. I just know that today is the day for getting the turkey a'cause I heard mom talking about it! I'm just quivering with excitement. I'll be back with an update...

Where's my bird?

I heard today was Turkey Day. So my beans went out and and stayed out forever and then they came back with lots of stuff in the foil. And then my bean dad put some stuff in the microthingie and it smelled so beatidelicious. I followed him when he took it out and I sat next to him and gave him the look. He didn't notice so I got a bit closer, like between his knees, closer. He looked at me then and told me to scram. Pardon, me? Oh! the infelinity of it all. Do you know he ate all the yummy smelling stuff all by himself and didn't give me any? I didn't get any turkey! No fair. Guess who'll be getting special wakeups tomorrow.

Letter from beanmom

Mom wrote me a note today,

::::
Dear Mia,

I love your morning wakeups but please, please, please my darlingprincessmiabella, can you do you wakeups a little later with a little less standing on the hair and scritching of the blanket? I promise to try not to accidentally rumble you off the bed.

love,
PMB Mom

::::

Dear Mom,

I know you know how much you like to sleep. I am the designated alarmcat in the house and it is my job to make sure that you wake ups to go to hunt so that I don't run out of crunchies and grass and the world's best cat litter and the toys and scritching boards and the nip. I take my job seriously and I am always on time. Please do not try and rumble me off the bed in the mornings when I am doing my wakeups. I keep doing them because you are not waking up. Although you may think that I am doing wakeups so I can get my breakie, it is really so you can get your breakie and then go hunt. I'm sorry if I stood on your hair this morning and made you an ouchie. If you would like me to stop the wakeups, all you have to do is wake up.

love,
Mia

No more mousie

I've given up waiting for the mousie to return. I haven't seen the mousie since my last report when I saw the mousie. Over the weekend, I gotted some new grasses, which I lovelovelove. If you haven't tried grass, ask you beans to get you some. My grass comes from Petco. It's yummy. I'm having a good day today a'cause my bean dad is at home. I like hanging out with my bean dad.

Mousie Sighting #2

The mousie came back!!! This time it gotted in the house! Oh my goodness! Here's exactly what happened. I was in the kitchen, and I smelled something suspicious around the washingthingie. I sniffed around and jumped on it and was looking around. The microthingie is next to the washingthingie and I was jumping from the washingthingie and microthingie and that's when mom caught me on the counter, where I'm not supposed to go. But mom! I think I smelled a mousie! She camed into the kitchen to see what I was looking at and couldn't see anything behind the washingthingie. She got the torchlight and was shining it around. She saw the shadow that I saw and yelled for dad. The mousie was hiding behind the microthingie! And then the mousie leaped from the behind the microthingie to the washingthingie and vanished. I don't know where the mousie went! Mom and dad are not happy. They don't want the mousie in the house. I'm just can't wait to get my paws on the mousie!!

Mom's old desk

So mom gave her 'puter desk away to a friend. Actually they did a swap. Mom got her friend's desk and he got her desk. Does it make sense? I don't know why beans do the things they do. But I do know I had to rub my stinky stuff all over the desk before it left our house. Just in case the desk met any other poodins along the way, they would know that the desk was mine, I mean my mom's.

A good brushin'

One of my favourite things to do is get a good brushin' from my bean mom. After I'm done with my morning wakeups and everyone is waked up, mom usually comes to give me a brushin'. I love my brush. I like rubbing my face on it and mom brushes me all over. I keep turning around for more. I have 2 brushes, a bristle brush and a slicker brush. I like the bristle brush best. Brushin' always makes me so 'laxed and shiny.

Early mornin' wakeups

It seems that my beans are sleeping too much in the mornin's. They always call me the Alarm Cat, and then when I wakes them up, they get mad. Mom said to me today when I came to do my wakeups, "Mia, it's too early, come back in one hour, it's not even 6 yet". But mom, I'm hungry. I am starving. I am wasting away. Please get up. So I start my early morning scritchin' on mom's side of the bed a'cause my bean dad always manages to accidentally trip me off the bed. Everytime. It's amazing. Mom tries to push me off but she can never do it. I jump on the bed and start walking around mom who tries to do a Diva Kitty Mom move, but she misses! I'm head butting the pillow, I'm doing the bread and butter on the bed next to Mom and she's not happy. So I climb on to her and look a dad and he gives me the eye, just the one, so I know I need to move, quick. I climb back over mom and start doing the bread and butter on her, which I know she just melts when I do it. And it works, she starts bean-purring and petting me and then she gets up and feeds me!! Food! Yummy crunchies. Works everytime!

Mom's Hurty Shoulder

uh-oh, mom says she has the hurty shoulder. She doesn't know why it's hurty, maybe if I get my paws on it, I can make the hurty go away.

Twistie or the ball?

twistie
Well dear poodins, I have a hard decision here. My mom and dad love buying me all sort of fantastic poodie toys from the pettoystore. Sometimes I'll play with the toy for a little while a'cause it's new and then I don't want to play with it anymore. So I'm deciding what to play with in the picture. The twistie or the ball with the bell. Which would you choose?

Oooh I saw a Mousie!!

I saw a mousie! I saw a mousie! I did. I saw it. It was outside the window in the kitchen and I was standing on top of the washingthingie looking out the window and it was right there on the ledge. Outside my window!! ohmygosh. I wanted to get at that mousie. I've never met a real mousie before. My beandad was in the kitchen with me and he heard me hissing at the window, he came to see what I was doing. And then he said, "It's a MOUSE!" I said, "Don't worry, I'll protect you!" but I couldn't get at it and the mousie ran away. I waited to see if it would come back. I had to take a break from watching to see if the mousie would come back to write this blog, but now I have to go back to watching!
