My heart is broken in two
Beanmom and I read the worst news from 5-Cat Style and the Flyer. Beanmom is very angy and crying. She said it makes her ashamed to be from Singapurr.We are very sorry and will say a purrayer for sweet innocent Tiffy.

We can only hope that some day, this cruel man will have to answer for his actions in this life.
My human pet was devastated when she read the news. She just scanned through all of the pictures as her heart sank lower and lower. Tell your human pet not to be ashamed of her background as people do horrible things in every nation all across the world. It's not just an isolated incident to one island in the South Pacific.

I had been following the story of little Tiffy since she first appeared on that blog. She was such an adorable little thing, and I was so happy to see the entry on 27 June about her and Gucci becoming such good friends. But I was so upset to read what followed. Poor little Gucci too, he must be really missing his new best friend. :(
Miabella, Zeus is right, your bean mom has nofing to be ashamed of. There are cruel people all ofurr the werld. Mommy says Tiffy is at the Bridge wif no worries and not scared anymore, and Grandpa Norton was prolly there to show her around. She says it's only us who are left here to greive and be sad.
Mia's Mom, I didn't realize until today that you are from Singapurr. I certainly won't judge Singaporans by the actions of one man, as I hope they don't judge all Americans by the actions of any one man. I am deeply saddened by what happened to Tiffy. Unfortunately, I've heard other stories where pets are "used" in spite. I know two cases where a woman left her husband and he killed her dog. I suspect this is similiar to the situation poor Tiffy was in. I still have great respect for 5-cat style and the flyer and all the other cat rescuers all over the world. They offer help to pet owners as well as pets, but people can be too stubborn/proud/stupid to accept it.

lambj - I feel the same way about 5-cat style and the Flyer. I respect them deeply and hold them in high regard. As they state, this sadness could have easily been prevented.

Purrs to Mia and her mum. It is the action of one person. We should not judge others from the same place to be the same.
I think all of our hearts are hurting from this.
Tell you're mom not to be ashamed. Just because there is one mean, selfish, senseless jerk out there from the same place she's from, doesn't mean she's one too. We can already tell that your mom is a good mom 'cause she takes good care of you.

There are cruel, devious, and unfeeling people in every country. Cowboy had a story on his blog a month or so ago about a couple of teenagers in the USA who tortured a poor defenseless dog to death. How can people be so cold?
When these people stand before the All-Mighty Creator, I hope the Lord shows them as much mercy and kindness as they showed his innocent creations. (I know that the Lord says to forgive others their trespasses; but, I am finding it hard to do in Tiffy's case. Ayla, I saw your blog and I think about like you.)
I hugged all five of my indoor kitties tonight. I love them very much.

I am ashamed to know you are ashamed of being a Singaporean as I think you do know that the action of Melissa's father does not mean that all Singaporeans do not love their pets.
Shit happens everywhere in every country. That is the reality. We just need to pick up the pieces, learn our lesson, improve and move on.

Thank you for remembering little Tiffy. I am sorry that you are so affected by her death. We are all deeply saddened by it too. But I cannot allow myself to grieve for Tiffy yet. I have to make sure that Gucci is safe before I let my heart break and the tears flow. I will miss this little one dearly.
