Terrible device
The mom has got a new thingie to torture me with. I don't know why she bought such a bizarro thingie. I don't know what on earth possessed her. She says all the other poodies like it and that she had to go out of the way to find it. Well I'm not like all the other poodies. I can't even imagine liking such a terrible thing. As soon as I got the chance I put the bite on it. See.
Then do you know what she tried to do next? She tried to torture me with it by putting it on my fur. "It's supposed to be massaging Mia", is what she said. I don't think so.
Finally, she just left it on the floor for me to inspect. I gave it a good inspection alright. Reow!

You don't like it Mia? Moms' been thinking of getting that Zoom Groom for us 'cause the other kitties have been recommending it. Shaggy needs all the help he can get with his long fur. Maybe longhairs like it better? -Scooby
Poor Mia, she did not like the Zoom Groom one bit! I'm not sure if it was the smell of it or the feel of it that put her off. She would duck out of the way when I would try to brush her with it. I will hold onto it for a few days to see if it grows on her. If not, back to the store I go. - Kerry
Awww, I likes mine and so does mum. She says it is furry good at getting me brushed. Specially now that it is shedding season. She can gets the loose fur off of me and get the brush clean. She really worked it through the other night and got lots off. Then she put it outside for the birdies to use in their nests.
The Mom likes to brush brush brush, way to hard on our delicate skins!! We aren't horses, for crying out loud!! Mittens puts up with the brush brush brush, but I just run and hide, my body is tenders.......

Oh.......Mom was watching PBS tonight, a cat show....and it was in Houston.....have you ever gone to it??
I'm totally against mom brushing me. Brach goes crazy with excitement when Mom gets the brush out.
The way I see it, unless my mother can produce a cosmetology license as proof of her abilities, I'm not letting her touch me. It's bad enough she insists on giving me manicures every other week!
I'm the only one in my family who likes it. My mom really got it with Eddie in mind, since even though he loves loves loves the Cat Slicker, he's gotten so thin that Mom wanted something a little gentler for him. Well, he doesn't like it and Olivia and her kangaroo don't like being brushed at all and Caroline is too high strung to sit still for longer than a mille-squillionth of a second. But I love it. It gets off a whole bunch of fuzz. Mom says she can make another William out of what she gets from it!
Oh, I bit mine too, but just for good measure.
ooh, i love my zoom groom and highly reccomended it on my blog. maybe you just need to give it a chance. btw, i do not like it on my tummy, but love it on my back and my neck and chin.
Our mommy got us one of those too- we don't like it either! Momo keeps wanting to eat it.
My human pet eyed this very curiously, and I think she has ideas to get one now. After reading your post, though, Princess Mia, I really don't want her to!
Mama can't find one at the store, so I gotted a brushie, instead. I love my brushie! I makes the extra fur go away, so I can be cool and purrty for summer.
I agree, brush on top and sides only, not the tummy. I don't like any kind of brushes on my tummy.
Magoo loves his. He will even self-groom. All me have to do is hold it at head level and he will rub his cheeks against it.
Day two of Mia meets the Zoom Groom. She's OK with it on her sides and top. But she does not want it anywhere near her face. With her bristle brush, she loves rubbing her face on it and comes running as soon as she sees the brush in my hand. Maybe she's not a ZG kinda girl.
Scrappy and Tucker love their Zoom Groom but I hate it too! No one can style my fur like I do.
Liking or disliking a Zoom Groom is really a personal thing. George likes it, Max & I don't.
Give it a chance, Ms. Mia! I looooove my Zoom Groom! I jump in my human's lap every time he sits down, and I bug him until he Zoom-Zooms me. The other Good Cats like being brushed, but not with a Z-G. It just means more for me!
Nicky had me look up a past post that shows him enjoying his Zoom Groom -- see above link -- but to be fair, the other 3 Good Cats didn't care for the ZG. They all like being brushed and they have their own favorite brushes, but not the ZG. To each his own...
I love to be combed and brushed, I lie there drooling and purring even if my mum is pulling out big tangles. (She thinks this is weird as she has never had a cat who liked to be groomed before). I don't have a Zoom Groom but will have to give it a try some time.
I likes being groomed with a pink brushie. Sumtimes I bites my brush an sumtimes I lie still an purr, purr, purr. Bonnie doesn't like being groomed except very rarely on the bafroom counter wif 1 specific brush. She's so picky!
