Another thing

Oh! If it's not one thing, it's another. Beanmom said she saw a flea on me. A FLEA! I am Princess Mia Bella of the Order of the Tux Ee Doe. I do not get fleas. The nerve! I know I got fleas from being examined in the dog side room at the stabby place. Dogs always have fleas, don't they?

I'm terribly embarassed by all of this but I decided to blog about it as a warning to effury cat. Fleas are upon us and we must take all necessary precautions to prevent them from hitching a ride on our furry selves.

Beanmom gotted some Frontline Plus and she's said that I will be having a bath. Soon. Very soon. Beware the fleas, my fellow poodins!

Gee...thanks for sharing, Mia. My mom said your story confirms why she doesn't allow us to go outside--even with a harness!

UGH! I don't think I will ever win this battle. (I'm not blaming you, you just didn't help my cause...but I still love you)

Another reason not to trust the V-E-T. They gave you DOG FLEAS!

Oh, dear KM, I hope that maybe one day your human minder, aka, The Mom, will let you saunter about outside. I too, am prone to rolling on the driveway in the dirt. But that only means I get a good brushing and sometimes a wipe down before being set loose in the house. It's the price I pay to go outside.

HGL - You are absolutely right! They gave me dog fleas.

Eeek. Poor Mia. You are having a tough week! I feel for you. The first time I ever went to stay at a kitty holiday camp (cattery) I came back with fleas and ear mites, my mum was not impressed. I go to a different holiday camp now! The flea stuff from the shops didn't work so now we get Advance or Advantage from the v-e-t and haven't seen a flea ever since.

Oh that is one of the reasons, ticks are the other that mum doesn't want me to outside.

Wow, first a lizard, now a flea! You get all the bestest toys! I've had three bafs now, but not for fleas. The only time I've efur hissed in front of Mom was at the v-e-t, when a woofie wanted to inhale me. She was huffin and puffin, so I hissed. That's the problem with v-e-ts who are bi.

We don't get fleas. Our Mommy only lets us out on the terrace that she sweeps down every two weeks! She brushes us too, when we need it.

Mommy says that fleas can hitch rides on beans too to come inside and attack kitties. We use Revolution and it werks great.

Fleas are very bad. Not that I know from personal experience, but Eddie got them when my sister who's gone now came to live with him and Mom. Poor thing, Mom says she was infested and that it was terrible terrible terrible making all those stupid fleas go away because they'd gotten everywhere. So be careful, PM!

We know Mistrie has fleas. Mom puts the medicine on her and then she tries and tries to reach it to lick if off. Thanks for headups, we dont want anything hitching rides on our furry rumps.

Patches & Mittens - tell Mistrie I feel her pain. I hope that the medikashun helps her. And tell her not to lick it. I did that once and then I was drooling fool a'cause it tasted icky!

WMD - Oh no, I hope it's not like that here. I heard beanmom talking to dad about defleaing my room, their room, the guest room and all the rooms. It sounded pretty serious.

A FLEA!!! That demands immediate action. Our Mom would never let a bug be on us. Get a flea collar right away. Where there's one, there's more.
