Safe at home
Tigey and I are safe at home now. We got electricity back on Tuesday afternoon. Thank you CenterPoint Energy! We're so glad to be at home. There's nothing like sleeping in your own beds!
I'm laxing with Beanmom in front of the TV. Life is good.

My Gotcha Day!
Thank you every poodin for all the special Gotcha Day wishes! We made it through the hurricane. There was loud winds and the trees bent to all funny yoga positions. I didn't know that trees could do yoga.
There was rain and loud noises. We didn't flood but we did lose power at GrandBeanmom's house. Tigey and I have been laying on the tile floor of GrandBeanmom's kitchen and it's delightful.
My beans went to check on our house and it was untouched by the storm. A lot of the trees around our house had broken and some were leaning on the power lines but nothing fell on our house. Yay!
The
City of Houston is taking good care of it's peoples.
CenterPoint Energy is working hard to restore power. We're keeping our paws crossed that we'll have power again soon.

Ready for Hurricane Ike
Yikes!
There's a
super giant storm in the Gulf of Mexico and the people on TV are saying that it's coming straight for us!
We are not near the coast and not near the water and we are staying put.
We're hoping that it's going to be like
Rita in 2005, but the beans think that it's going to be worse.
Keep your paws crossed for us!
