Happy Squillion Day

Today we celebrate Squillion Day. Vir-ginger was the very first Squillion and she came from a Litter of Squillions. Her sisfur, Mango, came to live with me.

Here are some of my adventures with Mango when she first came to live with me.
I love you, Mango!

Derby makes his decision

My Sweetheart Cat, Derby, has announced his decision. He has decided to be a one Girlcat Mancat and he has given me these gorgeous rings.

I wish Skittles all the best and I am going to be looking for a good ManCat for her. She is a very smart girlcat. Skittles has a P.O. Box if any secret admirers wish to write:

C/O Wendy
P.O. Box 301346
Escondido, CA 92030

Derby is also starting a fantastic group called Derby's Dreamcats. Join the group and you can send Derbs a picture of your favourite DreamGirl cat of DreamBoat boycat. Skittles, you can still have Derby as your DreamBoat.

While Skittles publishes her ode to Derby.

I present to you a Feast for the Eyes of Derby.

Am I not the most beautific Princess? Skittles my be cute with her stripes and such, but the beauty of a tuxie is plain to see.

Yes, Skittles and I may be have had similar backgrounds and no Derby hasn't given me a ring but he did give me two diamond necklaces.

Does that count?

Late Breaking News

Ladies and Gentlemen! I have a shocking announcement. Derby, my beloved Sweetheart Cat is being pursued by another shameless poodie. She has left love messages for him and told him to, gasp, I can't even bring myself to say it. She has told him to "forget about the Princess".

Gah!

I'm shocked at the blatant disregard for royalty. She has also been posting lascivious pictures on her gorgeous self online. Shameless.

I leave the final decision up to Derby. We have a special thing going. I understand that he's a good looking Mancat that has all the ladies swooning for him. If he wants to have a harem of Ladycats, then I will have to consider if I want to be part of a harem. I suppose I can be as long as I am the Number One Ladycat in the harem.

My book is here!

I'm so excited y'all! My We are the Kitties book is here. I have finally realized my life long dream of being a published poodie. I have my memoir, thus far, and two poems published in the book, including the very first haiku I ever wrote, which as it turns out, I wrote almost exactly one year ago.

On Valentine's Day of 2006, I left a secret comment on Derby's blog. He was very surprised and had no idea who had left him the comment. I finally revealed my identity to him in a pair of haikus. And, ahem, here there are,
Derby Sassycat
admire you in secret
no more will I do

Bonnie Underfoot
My secret you discovered
Discreet you are most

And this was the beginning of my romance with my Dreamy Derby Sweetheart Cat.

Thank you Max for organizing a Kitty Writing adventure that resulted in the We are the Kitties book. I remember that you organized the Kitty Haiku craze that got us all haikuing as well.

Does this ever happen to you?

WMD posed the question in his blog, which is slightly differet from my question.

You see you're brofur having a snooze. He's stretched out with his front paws pointing East and his back paws pointing West. You're walking by and you feel compelled to walk over and lick his head.

You lick, lick, lick and he stirs. You lick, lick, lick and he puts his paw up and then gives you a smack and tries to bite your ear off?
